⭐ HOW THE INCOME ENGINE WORKS

WHAT IN THE INTERNET WORLD DO I ACTUALLY DO? 😂

That’s really the question.

If you want the 20% → 15% → 10% → 5% → 5% commission mechanics, that’s How This Island Pays You.

If you want the calculator, the 7 → 49 → 343 examples and the giant whiteboard?

That’s Show Me The Money.

This page has one job:

WHAT DO I ACTUALLY DO WITH A RUNNER FREAK PARKING SPOT?

THE CONTENT GETS ATTENTION.

THE PARKING SPOT IS THE ADVERTISEMENT, THE MEDIA CONTAINER AND THE PRODUCT.

THE VIEW PROVES SOMEBODY LOOKED.

THE SALE CREATES THE AFFILIATE INCOME.

OTHER INDEPENDENT PEOPLE DOING THE SAME THING CREATE THE LEVERAGE.

That’s the Income Engine.

A Parking Spot is a $7 advertising product and media asset in one inside RunnerFreak.com.

It can advertise a race, coach, running club, store, shoe company, apparel brand, training program, race photographer, event, expo, charity, travel business or running service — or it can publish a race story, training experiment, comeback, review, opinion, comparison, running adventure or something else worth seeing around the running world.

Sometimes the advertisement is the media. Sometimes the media is the advertisement. And sometimes it’s doing both at the same time.

  • A runner can tell the story of their first marathon.
  • A race can show people what makes the event worth running.
  • A coach can explain how they train runners.
  • A running club can show people what they’re building.
  • A store or brand can explain a product, service or idea.
  • A creator can build something deeper than a disappearing social post.
  • A charity, event, local business or running organization can tell its story.

Or somebody can simply talk about the running world itself — great races, terrible races, new shoes, training mistakes, race travel, injuries, comebacks, personal records and the ridiculous things runners voluntarily put themselves through. 😂

THE PARKING SPOT SOLD EITHER WAY.

The runner, race, training idea, business, product or story is the content.

THE INTERNET ALREADY BUILT THE AUDIENCES.

  • X already has the conversations.
  • YouTube already has the viewers.
  • Facebook already has the feeds and groups.
  • Google already has people searching.

I just need to find the little piece where I have something worth adding.

Runner Freak has no shortage of material.

  • A marathon opens registration.
  • A runner does something completely ridiculous or incredible.
  • A shoe company launches something new.
  • A race goes brilliantly.
  • A race goes completely sideways.
  • Somebody runs their first 5K, marathon or ultramarathon.
  • A training idea, injury, comeback or running controversy gets people talking.

Or I see something and think:

“THERE’S A RUNNING STORY IN THAT.”

Great.

THERE’S MY SUBJECT.

I don’t have to create the entire conversation myself.

I can join one that’s already happening.

Maybe I understand the race, runner, product or training subject completely.

Maybe I need help figuring out the background, comparing information, organizing what I found or deciding what questions are worth asking.

AI can help research, organize information, improve a headline, clean up the writing, create an illustration or turn a pile of ideas into something worth publishing.

Great. Use it.

But AI isn’t the business.

AI HELPS ME BUILD.
THE PARKING SPOT IS THE PRODUCT.

And when I’m talking about real races, real runners, real products and real businesses?

MAKE IT TRUE.

  • Maybe I’m writing about a race I just ran.
  • Maybe I’m building a page around an event trying to attract runners.
  • Maybe I’m a coach, club, creator or running business trying to show people what I do.

THE RUNNING STORY OR OPPORTUNITY IS THE CONTENT.

I spend seven bucks and build it.

Now I have something I control inside RunnerFreak.com.

  • Its own URL.
  • Story.
  • Photos.
  • Supported embedded video.
  • Links.
  • Contact information.
  • Calls to action.
  • A public view counter.

Then I take it back to the places where the attention already exists.

THE PLATFORMS ARE WHERE I FIND THE ATTENTION.

THE PARKING SPOT IS WHERE I GIVE THE ATTENTION A JOB.

  • Read the story.
  • Watch the video.
  • Learn about the race.
  • Contact the coach, club or business.
  • Explore the event or opportunity.
  • Follow the link.

Or simply see what somebody built.

Somebody sees the Parking Spot.

Good.

The public counter tells me the Parking Spot was viewed.

THE VIEW DID NOT CREATE AN AFFILIATE COMMISSION.

THE VIEW ONLY GAVE SOMEBODY A CHANCE TO SEE WHAT I BUILT.

  • Maybe they only wanted to read about the race. Fine.
  • Maybe they’re another runner wondering whether they should sign up next year. Fine.
  • Maybe they’re a coach, race director, running business or creator looking for ideas. Fine.

But while they’re there, they can also see the product used to publish it.

“WOW, I COULD DO THAT.”

Yes.

Seven bucks.

They buy one through my qualifying affiliate relationship.

That’s where affiliate income can begin.

This is especially interesting on Runner Freak.

  • Runners love telling race stories.
  • Races, coaches, clubs and businesses spend a lot of time trying to explain why somebody should care about what they’re doing.

I can show somebody an actual Parking Spot.

  • Here’s the page.
  • Here’s the story.
  • Here’s the video.
  • Here’s the race, business, project or idea.
  • Here’s the contact information.
  • Here’s where I shared it.

Then I can ask:

WANT TO BUILD ONE OF YOUR OWN?

If not?

Fine.

If yes?

THE PRODUCT STARTS AT SEVEN BUCKS.

A social post can be useful.

Then tomorrow comes.

And another hundred posts land on top of it.

The Parking Spot is still there.

  • I can update it.
  • I can send it to another runner, race director, coach or business.
  • I can distribute it again.

I can keep building around the same URL instead of starting from zero every morning.

Buying a Parking Spot does not automatically make somebody an affiliate.

  • Maybe a runner buys one page about their marathon and that’s all they ever want. Fine.
  • Maybe a race buys ten over time. Great.
  • Maybe a coach, creator or running business keeps coming back with new things to park. Great.

Maybe one of those customers eventually says:

“I COULD SELL THESE TOO.”

They can separately apply to the Runner Freak Affiliate Program.

If approved, they get their own affiliate relationship and can create customers of their own.

NOW I’M NOT THE ONLY PERSON BUILDING DISTRIBUTION.

  • I know my runners, races and businesses.
  • They know theirs.
  • I find my stories and opportunities.
  • They find theirs.

I DON’T NEED THEM TO HAVE MY AUDIENCE.

I WANT THEM TO HAVE THEIRS.

  • Become an affiliate.
  • Find runners, races, coaches, clubs, stores, brands, creators, events and running businesses.
  • Show people the product.
  • Create customers.
  • Earn the direct commission on eligible sales.

Nothing wrong with that.

But if every customer and every sale has to come through me forever?

I’M THE BOTTLENECK.

I’d apply to the Runner Freak Affiliate Program.

No Parking Spot purchase required.

But me personally?

I’D SPEND THE SEVEN BUCKS AND BUILD ONE.

  1. I’d build something around a runner, race, coach, club, business, product, event or running story worth seeing.
  2. Then I’d put it in front of people who might care.
  3. And I’d pay attention to the person who says:

“WOW, I COULD DO THAT.”

THE CONTENT GETS ATTENTION.

THE PARKING SPOT IS THE ADVERTISEMENT, THE MEDIA CONTAINER AND THE PRODUCT.

THE VIEW PROVES SOMEBODY LOOKED.

THE SALE CREATES THE AFFILIATE INCOME.

OTHER INDEPENDENT PEOPLE CREATING, DEMONSTRATING AND SELLING THE PRODUCT CREATE THE LEVERAGE.

Want the commission percentages and rules?

That’s How This Island Pays You.

Want the 7 → 49 → 343 math and the big whiteboard?

That’s Show Me The Money. 😂

BUILD IT.
SHOW IT.
SELL THE PRODUCT.
LET OTHER PEOPLE BUILD THEIRS.
